This Christmas, our team proudly packed 25 Santa Shoebox gifts for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, coming together to spread joy, kindness and practical support to children in need, a small act with a meaningful impact.
To celebrate a milestone birthday, staff provided personalised, sensory-aware support for “W”, working closely with family to create a safe, meaningful experience centred around their preferences. With consistent 2:1 care, clear communication, and thoughtful adjustments throughout the day, the team ensured “W” felt relaxed, included, and valued—resulting in a joyful celebration filled with warmth and genuine connection.
By actively listening to clients and families across our supported living, community care and clinical services, MUVE turns real-time feedback into meaningful action, strengthening person-centred care, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our values of compassion, inclusion and accountability are reflected in everything we do.
Kindness Week at MUVE Healthcare (20–24 October) brought teams together to celebrate empathy, appreciation and connection through simple daily acts from gratitude walls and thank-you cards to “Tea & Thanks” drops and Friday shout-outs. The initiative sparked hundreds of heartfelt gestures, reinforcing that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact. Building on this commitment to Care for People, MUVE also launched an accessible Client Satisfaction Survey, designed in easy-read format to ensure every client’s voice, including those with communication or cognitive challenges, can be heard, helping continuously improve the support provided to individuals and their families.
The Kvell Project is a volunteer-led initiative supporting displaced children on the Thai–Burma border through its partnership with Huaymalai Children’s Home. Founded in 2008, the project provides essential care, education and emotional support to over 25 children, with 100% of contributions going directly to the home. Guided by transparency, compassion and community partnership, Kvell connects UK and US volunteers with long-term, sustainable support that strengthens education, wellbeing and opportunity for the children it serves.
Care Grows Here is MUVE’s long-term social impact initiative, launched in partnership with Carma Earth. Through the funding of approximately 1,200 trees each year, the programme supports reforestation projects across the UK and Africa, helping to remove an estimated 4 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Beyond carbon reduction, each tree planted promotes biodiversity, strengthens local communities, and restores vital ecosystems, extending MUVE’s commitment to care beyond people to the planet we share.
Mattel has introduced a new autistic Barbie, developed in collaboration with autistic individuals and advocates to ensure it reflects lived experience with care and authenticity. The doll includes sensory-considerate features and thoughtful design elements that recognise the diversity of how autism presents. It represents a meaningful shift toward inclusion within mainstream toys — especially for children whose disabilities may not always be visible to others. This launch is more than a product release. It signals growing awareness that representation should reflect the full spectrum of human experience.
MUVE Analytics is our internally built application designed to strengthen care through insight. The platform securely pulls data from Birdie and client case notes to help us identify patterns, highlight risks, and understand trends across services in real time. It allows us to move from reactive care to proactive support — ensuring concerns are spotted earlier, actions are tracked clearly, and quality is continuously improved.
