
Kindness Week 2025 - Strengthen connection and Wellbeing
Kindness Week is a dedicated moment in our calendar to pause, reflect, and actively practise the values that sit at the heart of MUVE — compassion, respect, and community. Across all entities and regions, teams take part in small but meaningful acts that strengthen connection, wellbeing, and social value both within our services and beyond them. It is not about grand gestures. It is about consistent, intentional care.
Kindness Week began with a simple question:
What would happen if we were all just a little more intentional with how we show up for one another?

Across our homes, offices, and services, that question turned into action.
Colleagues wrote handwritten notes of appreciation.
Teams organised small treat tables and shared lunches.
Volunteer champions supported community initiatives.
Managers recognised quiet leaders who go unseen every day.
In some services, kindness meant checking in on a colleague who seemed overwhelmed.
In others, it meant spending extra time listening to a client’s story.
In our communities, it meant continuing initiatives like tree planting and giving back in ways that create lasting impact.
Kindness Week reminded us that care is not just what we deliver — it is how we deliver it.
Every smile.
Every thank you.
Every small act.
Together, these moments strengthen our culture, reinforce our CQC values, and remind us why we do what we do.
Because at MUVE, kindness is not a campaign.
It is who we are.
